Hi Sharon,
Hope you are keeping well. We would like to thank you for delivering such an amazing Wedding Ceremony for us back in April at Fota Island Resort and for helping make our Wedding Day absolutely perfect.
From your preparations in the lead up, your kind and thoughtful words on the day, down to taking care of the documents after, you took the stress out of everything.
All of our guests said that it was the most personalised and relaxed wedding ceremony they ever experienced. I think there could be a few vow renewals on the way 😊
We will be forever grateful and we love your Marriage Cert.
Best Wishes,
Caroline & Richie
Are You Getting Married In Ireland ?
Congratulations! Would you like your wedding ceremony to be unique & special, designed & created to suit your own beliefs & wishes? You’ve found the right place!
What About the Legal Bits ?
With me as your Celebrant, your unique & personalised ceremony can be a real, legal marriage on the day if that’s what you really want, isn’t that wonderful? There will be no need for you to attend a Registry Office on a different day with your witnesses for a Registry Office Marriage, or Civil Ceremony. Unless you live abroad and have decided that’s what’s most convenient for you both.
As a Registered Solemniser, I am duly authorised by Law to Solemnise Marriage in the Republic of Ireland. As a Holistic Minister, I am honoured to create & conduct beautiful unique & personalised non-denominational ceremonies for people of all faiths or none.
I Have the Expertise You Need
Are you looking for an expert with a lifetime of experience in the art of ceremony & celebration, who will listen to your requirements and understand exactly what you want, who will create your beautiful ceremony to suit your wishes perfectly?
No matter if you’d like your ceremony to be short & simple, meaningful but without all the fuss – or a fairytale ceremony with all the enchantment and magic of a Hollywood movie! With over 30 years experience in the art of ceremony & celebration, both in my homeland Australia and here in Ireland (since 2012),
I have the creativity, vision and expertise to design & create your beautiful ceremony, and also the experience to prepare and deliver your ceremony flawlessly on the day! This will ensure your ceremony is the one your guests will be raving about for years to come – for all the right reasons!
Does a Legal Marriage Cost Extra?
There is a government fee to register your marriage. This is a non-refundable €200 “Notification Fee” paid to your choice of HSE Civil Registration Office. This payment is necessary legal requirement to “notify your intention to marry”.
My ceremony fee is the same for a non-legal wedding ceremony or renewal of vows, as it is for a legal marriage ceremony. There will be no extra cost from me to solemnise your legal marriage.
Are You a Humanist Celebrant?
I am often asked this question. I am from Australia, the home of the Civil Celebrancy movement. The first Humanist Celebrants in the world were trained by my Celebrancy Mentor & Teacher, a wonderful ex-Clergy, who was the first registered Civil Marriage Celebrant in Australia and the world, who is known as the founding father of the Civil Ceremony movement worldwide.
Therefore it’s no surprise why my Australian Civil Ceremony style can easily be mistaken for a Humanist ceremony. Just like a Humanist ceremony, every ceremony I create & conduct is non-Religious.
Why Should We Choose You to Officiate ?
Couples who don’t wish to be married in a Church choose me to officiate their wedding ceremony for so many reasons, including:
- My experience & professionalism, along with my caring approach to every aspect of your ceremony design & delivery.
- My unique, collaborative & creative ceremony design process gives you complete control of all ceremony design decisions every step of the way!
- As a Holistic Minister, I am non-denominational. This means your non-church ceremony can be any style you wish, to suit your own beliefs and wishes.
- I will dress in a professional manner to comply with your dress code.
- I know when it’s appropriate to be in your wedding photos, and when it’s absolutely not.
- My standard inclusions are impressive – I really have thought of everything!
Most importantly – I never forget what an honour and a privilege it is to be part of your special day.
What Style of Ceremony
Can We Have?
Most of the ceremonies I create & conduct are spiritual ceremonies, many are spiritual with a religious feel, but that doesn’t mean yours has to be. Your ceremony will be conducted according to the Earth Spiritualist tradition, which means your ceremony is non-religious, but also designed in any style you wish, to suit your own beliefs.
The Earth Spiritualist tradition is a philosophy based on kindness, a fundamental part of traditional Irish culture with a basis in ancient law of the land, including the belief that every living man, woman here in Ireland has the right to freedom of Religious belief (or none) including freedom to marry in a ceremony designed to their own beliefs and wishes, provided their beliefs are based on kindness.
Choose from the following styles as a starting point for ideas:
- Non-religious or Humanist style ceremony
- Spiritual ceremony
- Spiritual with a Religious feel
- Mixed faith ceremony
- Mention God if you wish
I will help you to discover your ceremony style based on your own beliefs and wishes develop your own ideas for your unique ceremony style – which reflects your character and personality, and perfectly meets your goals and vision for your big day!.
My goal is to make you feel like you have designed your own ceremony, I appoint you as the Design Director. This means you get to read and approve every version of your ceremony from start to finish and approve every word for yourself. With me there is only one rule for your ceremony design and that is – you make the rules!
I invite you to browse my website, and let me know if you have any questions at all, you can contact me to book a free consultation and chat to ask any questions you might have, and to see if I am available on your big day.
No matter what style of ceremony you wish for, I would be honoured to work with you!
All Ceremony Styles
Yesterday was amazing. Your ceremony, the thought and consideration put into it. The little details. Everything from start to finish was just perfect.
Thank you so very much. It’s been a pleasure working with you and I wish you every continued success. Best wishes Maria & Brendan”
